How it began
Just two brothers.
First things first, let's talk about a big secret: the skincare industry. 'They' — the folks selling all those fancy creams and serums — want you to think you need their products to get great skin.
But here's the real deal: preventing skin issues is way better than trying to fix them.
We're two brothers from a small town in Manchester who grew up struggling with our skin. We tried everything — endless products, complicated routines, and so-called miracle treatments — but nothing seemed to work.
The more we looked into it, the more we realised that the skincare industry was built on making people dependent on products, rather than addressing the root cause of skin issues.
That's why we decided to focus on what we call step zero: the traditional towel. Most people don't wash their towels as often as dermatologists recommend, and for those who do, it's a hassle. A dirty towel can be one of the biggest culprits behind persistent breakouts — yet almost no one talks about it.
